Question Regarding Getting A New Computer

Hi all. I am a relatively new user to LimeWire however I think I have managed to figure out how to use it for the most part. My dilemma is not so much with LimeWire itself but rather how to transfer files from one computer to the next. The computer I am currently using is about 4 years old and has already crashed once, requiring me to reload the OS. I am going to be purchasing a new computer soon and I am wondering what is the easiest way to save and transfer my LimeWire files to the new computer. All of the files are mp3 audio files however I cannot simply burn CDs because I don't have a CD burner. Someone told me to get an mp3 player and transfer them using that however I have no clue as to how to do that.

Can I simply just copy the files onto a CD and then transfer the same files to the new computer?

Please excuse my ignorance in this matter...I am fairly computer illiterate (therefore please keep your replies simple, lol). :o

Thanks in advance for any and all replies. :xeri_ok1ani:

Try buying a flashdrive... they're not that expensive
about 30$ (USD) for a one GB. [~300 songs]

As long as you have a USB drive, you can use it...
