40-something needs help
 

OK, I admit I'm in a little over my head, but I've read all this stuff about moving tracks to iTunes and then downloading it to my iPod and still have a question.

I was able to get the LimeWire tunes I'd downloaded successfully onto the iTunes "administrator's LimeWire tunes" folder with a simple click. Then I plugged in my iPod and the transfer was automatic.

Only problem is, I had 36 songs in the list and only 15 of them transferred. I know that the tunes I had in my iTunes playlist weren't the ones that transferred ... because I wasn't charged for them and they were only the 30-second sample versions.

So what happened? I read in one post that the LimeWire tunes in iTunes weren't really "there" -- just a list. And yet, 15 of the songs on that list did transfer to my iPod. Can you help? :confused:
