Looking for lyrics to a song from 1988 or 1989

Does anyone know of a way I can find the name of a song from 1988 or 1989 without knowing the title or artist? I can only remember a few words. It used to play on a radio station that no longer exists out of Chicago. The radio station was called "The Wave" (WTWV), which broadcasted from 1987 to 1989.

Try googling the lyrics you remember, that usually brings up good results...:rolleyes_2:

Thanks....yeah...been there done that.

I get like a gabillion hits and can't find anything relevant.

The words I know from the song are like "is this love that I'm feeling" or "is this love that we're feeling".

It's definetly is not Whitesnake. The radio station was a smooth jazz type station

It wouldn't be Survivor would it ??

No...thanks....It's not Survivor either.

It could be hard to figure this one out.

I wish I knew of a website that let you search for lyrics and then play part of (if not the entire) song. Any ideas?

I think it might be Journey. Now you're driving me nuts!!! I won't rest til I figure this out and help you. What I was thinking of is Whitesnake. I can't help you yet.

I know that feeling, wonderwhy!! Thanks for your help. It's not Journey, Whitesnake, or Bob ******. And I'm not certain if those words are in the title...unfortunately, it's the only phrase I can recall at the moment...

The song is at least 18 years old and was played on a smooth jazz radio station.

I'm racking my brain trying to remember more.

Thanks, hibble!! I'll look at that site and update this thread later
