i tunes

very new please help....howcan i get limewire downloads into my i tunes music library. The best i can do is basically it creating a seperate shared folder link when i plug me i pod in but it wont update he songs into the library. i have had to burn a disc of limewire put song tags on and import......surely there must be a way of getting the songs into the main libaray. Thanks:confused:

Sorry, I don't have iTunes installed right now, but there is a way! If you go under the 'File' heading, there should be an option somewhere to monitor folders...simply add the folder(s) that contains your music downloads.

Good Luck

limewire twice

I integrated the limewire playlist into my itunes, but it shows up twice. They are both exactly the same. I cannot seem to deleate either one of them. How do I remove one from itunes?

The LimeWire playlist that shows up in iTunes can be played but not copied or burnt. You need to add the actual music files to iTunes. See Birdy's link about how to do. Unless you do that you won't be able to add those songs to your iPod. To get rid of the listings of LW in iTunes, it looks like there's 2 for 2 reasons. 1. Go to LW's Tools>Options>iTunes>Sharing & uncheck the option to share music with iTunes. 2. Undo the option muhctekdano suggested.
Choose one of those options to get rid of the extra listing.

ok. This is almost to easy to believe. The "Easiest" way to get your LimeWire songs into your Itunes library, is to simply have both programs running and have them spilt screen (limewire on one side itunes on other) and drag the songs from LimeWire into Itunes and your done!
