Because you have LW basic & a cable/dsl connection?

If you have basic with a T3 connection, the max is 10 hosts. LW Pro will give you a couple more hosts...10, or 14 with a T3 connection.

The host limits are set to avoid network congestion, huge queues & make sure that everyone, with their different connection speeds, can download successfully.
