installation lime wire mac os x tiger
 

Hello,
I had lime wire on my mac book pro (mac os x tiger)
and I saw a new version existed. Then I decided to download it. But it didn't work. So I decided to erase LIme wire from my computer, and download it again. Then I still have the same problem. I keep on clicking on the installation window and nothing happens.... It doesn't run the installation.
I went into the internet section of my system prefercences, put on gnutella/lime wire but nothings happen.
What do i have to do???

Delete the installer from the desktop, and try to download a new one from www.limewire.com

There is no need to go to the Sharing section of the System Preferences: those are only used when you need to turn on the OS X firewall.

It does'nt work. The installer lauches, then disappear.
Is there a posibility that Acquisition blocks it? Cause I've got it also, and it bugs all the tilme, i have to force quit each time...
Please help me.

Not sure why the problem--and since ACQ uses the core code mostly developed by LW, both can't be running at the same time.

A few others have noted MacBook issues, and I wasn't able to help them.

Have you done the usual, like the Safe Boot, and running System Update?
