Default Buying LimeWire Pro from Australia?

Ok this is going to sound real silly

I live in Australia. I would like to purchase LimeWire Pro. I don't use and have never had credit cards. The option to buy using a money order says it needs to be issued in American dollars from any North American bank.

Does that mean I can't just go into the Post Office tomorrow and get a money order made out to LimeWire Pro? Or can the Australian post offices do this?

It would be good if I could pay via PayPal, but I guess that's outta the question too.

Cheers in advance
Lisa

This is the message I have recieved from LW in regards to you purchasing LW via money order...

Re: Pro in Australia
I suppose she could take the money order route. Here is the form: https://www.limewire.com/sales/engli...orderform.html

She will need to include an e-mail address because we will still send her a download page.

I'd recommend, though, that she find a way to make the purchase with a credit or debit card, perhaps she can work it out with a friend? LimeWire PRO, when purchased with a money order costs more and is generally a hassle on both ends of the transaction.

Thanks for your replies.

Sometimes I feel like the only bugger left on this earth who refuses to have credit cards.

Yes the money order would be a hassle from both ends, perhaps remove this option altogether and add an option to pay through paypal

Guess I'll stick to the free version for now.

Default How to pay...

Hi Missmush...

If you have internet banking there is a part in there where international money transfers exist. (Most places accept this just as they do credit card payments.) It does have a banking fee and can be traceable. An option maybe?

Or another is to personally go into your bank and get an international bank order for the required amount and mail it. I believe from my ebay experiences that this has additional fee too.

I dont have LW pro so I'm not sure if these are viable payment options....wouldnt hurt to go back and have a look tho.

BTW...I'm another from your side of the fence....I too do not have or will ever have a credit card
