 Uninstall java 6 then d/load and install java 5. Use JRE 5.0 Update 11(Offline Installer). Java SE Downloads - Previous Release - JDK 5. Be sure to allow java access to the internet. Try deleting the LW preference folder. Instructions here(point 3): Fixes for Limewire Hope this helps  . Let us know how you get on.
