Question Setting menu comes up over and over when I click on icon

Hi!
Have just re-installed Limewire, and it all looks ok until I try to open the program. When I click the desktop icon, the only thing I get is the settings meny, asking about language, location for files, scanning harddisk, etc. This happens every time. How do I open the actual program to start downloading files??

Thanks!
