help with downloading? please.
 

i just downloaded limewire today.

When i go to download a song a box pops up and says "limewire is unable to find a license for this file. download anyway?"

What does this mean? and is a license important?

This helps to prevent you from downloading copyrighted material. Any thing that is copyrighted will not have a license with it. However, I don't think everything that is non-copyrighted always has license information with it.
