LW Pro worth it?

I am currently using the free version to try before I buy. I am happy with LW, so now I want to know what you guys think who have used both... Is it worth upgrading to Pro? Is it really any better? Thanks!

wondering why May 24th, 2007 05:16 PM

If you have had Basic and you have it running perfectly going Pro can have it's benefits....Instead of connecting to 3 Ultrapeers with Pro you connect to 5, this can increase search enquries...Also with Pro you can connect up to 14 hosts, which can increase your download speeds...;)

As WW already posted, LW Pro has the potential for faster d/loads and better search results, but unless you have a really fast connection you aren't going to notice much of a difference. Search results should be a little better, especailly if your looking for rarer files.

Most of us consider buying Pro as a donation towards the developement of LW.

LW Pro Worth it?

Is LW Pro upgrade per customer or computer?

6_pac June 2nd, 2007 12:20 AM

You can d/l it as many times as you like from your personal d/l page for 6 months. After that you'll need to purchase it again if you want the updates. Hope this answers your question.

use the free lw and search for **** when you find d/l it, it will be an older
version but works really well, it will install over your previous version

mdougla1,
Do NOT advise people to download any program files with LW. Do you have any idea how many infected exe, zip & rar files are out there? Just because you have been lucky (so far) & not been infected yourself, doesn't mean that the next person who reads your silly post won't go & download an infected file.

LW Pro's a good app, well worth the $18.88. Most of us here who use Pro see the cost as more of a donation to the future development of LW. If nobody paid for Pro, do you think there would be a LW for you to use? Idiot.

:bs2:

What's healthier, 4 macdonald's burgers or LW Pro. Which one lasts longer. Which one gets more in return than the other. Which company is involved in the deforestation of South American rainforests in order to nurture cheap beef farms. Which one tends to employ under-age employees so they are paid less. Which one results in the most littering around the world. Which one sets up ugly look alike buildings anywhere & everywhere. Which one uses propaganda and selling tricks. Which one tries to get people to buy it from as young as possible.

I would agree 100% even though I got VERY lucky and got ****** off Limewire without any problems and it's a $600 program!!! Most of the exe and zip files get a high risk warning from Norton

Hold the TwoCows, I'll have a LimeVegie Pro & extra Ultrapeers & red hot chilli peppers over easy.

I would definately recommend Pro. It is well worth the 18.88 charge.
