VLC- unrecognized format

I tried to view 2 videos I DL with VLC. One did fine, the other said "unrecognized format c:\(file path and name)" Any suggestions? TIA

It's probably a fake file. Did you check it with Bitzi? Bitzi is a database where you can determine the quality of a file (or if it's a fake). If there's no information on Bitzi, and the file has lots of hosts, it's most likely a fake.

Bitzi didn't have info. I stay away from the high # of hosts. Guess I got a bad one anyway. I'll update on Bitzi.

If I mark the file junk and then delete it, will LW still recognize it as junk?
