LimeWire won't start
 

I running Limewire pro 4.12.11 using Windows XP. I used to be able to play music from saved files using Limewire without the internet. It has been a while but now all I get is the starting limewire page which then disappears and nothing. Connection to the internet makes no difference. All that I can think of as different are Updates to Windows and Norton Internet Security.
Got any ideas??

Apparently when you update Norton or LW versions, you need to reconfigure it to allow LW full access; Reconfiguring Norton Firewall (click blue link). And if usng Norton Firewall, disable XP's firewall. They do NOT work well together & clash, resulting in side-effects and less security, not more.
