Need help (can't get to setup wizard)
 

Hi All,

I used to have Limewire (can't remember version) but it wouldn't run anymore. I uninstalled everything and re-installed current basic version.

I can get the installer wizard which I have run, but I don't seem to get the setup wizard.

Please help me activate this wonderful tool.

I've checked my Java installation and it seems ok. I have tried to re-install LW and during the installation wizard I get the error message "Error opening file c:\program files\limewire\limewire.exe for writing".

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

I found a thread with a similar problem that suggested - among other things - using the "Other Installer". I downloaded this installer and when I tried to extract the files from the zip file, I got a message that the Limewire.exe file is password protected.

Anyone know the password?
