Can someone please help a new user???(converting movie files)
 

I have downloaded some stuff (video) for my daughter from Limewire and have it sitting on my computer still too scared to delete until I can fix the problem.

In my Lw file it says the download is mpg file and when I tried burning to a dvd so it can play in the dvd player....I put it in and came up in jpeg format.

What have I done wrong and what can I do to rectify this???

Is it possible to burn to a disc so that it just plays like a movie in the dvd??? Cos it plays like a movie on my computer.

BTW...using vista if this helps with Norton Av.

What program did you use to convert the file from MPG to dvd ???

dvdSanta 4.50 supports Windows Vista. However, you need to run dvdSanta as administrator in order to access your DVD burner. Just right click the dvdSanta icon on the desktop, select "Run as administrator" to launch dvdSanta.

Well after muexploration of programs Ive never used let alone heard of....I have succeeded. Thankyou so much for your help.:idea:

I used the allokavi conversion program. And used Imgburn to finish the job.

LMAO....the dvd is in the player on constant play waiting for my daughter to se it first thing in the morning.

Lw has been a thrilling experience for me first time round.
