unwanted files

New to the forums. Hello all!! My curiousity is why when I type the name of a song in the Search, Title boxes do I get all sorts of files, alot of them like "Bill Gates get Pranked or Spealberg gets pranked. And these same files appear on every download I try to get. Is there any way I can filter this sort of stuff out once and for all?

:welcomeani:bob white...
You could try adding the word pranked into the keyword filter...
But just be careful in what you enter as if you where to enter a common word that could be used in a title later on the keyword filter will block the file...

These threads will help...
How to add words to the filter
Keywords worth filtering

You should also remember that you are not downloading from a controlled environment, like an Amazon.com server, but from possibly millions of PC owners/users like your self. Therefore, you will find fake files, booby trapped files and all forms of malware.

However, there is stuff out there worth having and that is what makes the gnutella network so exciting.
