I generally don't need to resort to forums, however in this case i'm all outta ideas. I don't run a firewall on my comp, my router has UPnP enabled, I also have a port forward within it on the only two port numbers I could find within my Limewire settings, and it still continually has Connecting.. and it also says I have a firewall up. The only thing I can think of is if someone has put a firewall on our network, however there is not one enabled within the router. If this was the case can someone tell me how to find out if there is one. Also when I go to the Connection tab on Limewire, it has no connections there, and if I add one, it waits about 2 seconds and then it disappears. I really have no idea what to do, shareaza doesn't work either, however some other P2P clients e.g Utorrent do! Also, limewire worked before I reformatted my computer, with the same installer. I tried the original installer, which didn't take, then I tried the latest installer.

If anyone can assist, it would be most welcome. Ty
