how do I put java in the path?

I am getting the following error message when trying to run Limewire after unzipping the LimeWireOther.zip file,
[root@jfryelocalhost LimeWire]# sh ./runLime.sh
: command not found5:
: No such file or directory
: command not found9:
: command not found23:
'/runLime.sh: line 24: syntax error near unexpected token `
'/runLime.sh: line 24: `look_for_java()
Do I need to put java in the path? the readme file says so. How do I put java in the path.
I am running Fedora 7 linux.

fryemo
