Can't play music (can't hear)
 

Hello to all - this is my first time in a forum or using limewire. Please use basic language (I'm computer illiterate) when explaining. I can download (or I think I am downloading) music, but I don't know how to play the music. Thanks for the help:confused:

What Media players have you got on your computer ??

itunes is a very popular media player, to make itunes your computers default player do this...

Go to your shared folder (outside of Limewire) you will find this folder by clicking on one of your files in your LW library and clicking explore...

Right click on one of your MP3 files
Select open with
Select choose program
select itunes
and tick the box that says always use this program to open this file type
Select OK

You can use this method for any media player you choose...

If you are trying to use the limewire player and it's not working for you it's because it's not all that reliable...
To disable LW player go to Tools > Options > Player and untick the box and select apply...

ok - I tried this but when I right click on an mp3 I don't get the "open with" option.:bangh:

Are you going to your shared folder outside of limewire ??
