Purchasing Limewire Pro

I have been using limewire for quite a while now. Recently my pro started to pop-up about a new version. Now this is just after the licence ran out.

I went to purchase as I did before the limewire pro off the website. I tried the extended version and it said payment refused. I tried with a different card and a different browser and it says payment refused.

Now I live in Australia so it will cost me more to send the thing via mail than it will to just goto another program. I have used limewire for a long while and appreciate the program, hence why I bought the pro in the first place.

Is your website down? Or is there a problem, because I am trying to purchase it with the same credit card as before. The other question is can you enable paypal, as their exchange rate is much more favourable than the credit cards.

arnyswart,

Send a PM to limenathan & explain that you're trying to pay by CC & that you're having problems...he might be able to help. While you're at it, you could also ask whether there are any plans to reintroduce paypal:D

I sent a PM to him, the answer after I did a little bit of playing around is that it does not accept Australia as an acceptable country. Once I put in the US as the address then it works. I would have preferred to do it correctly but that is the best work around I can do.

I now have purchased Limewire Pro. Thanks for your help.

Thats very interesting to here Arny, because it appears to me that there is quite a large number of Aussies that support Limewire. Sounds like the Limewire Boys are getting a little to COCKY and INDEPENDENT. If we were to stop funneling these guys with all of this money they might have a different prospective. There's always Bearshare and Phex that I'm thinking about taking a look at.
Just my 2 cents.

Anyway good to have you in the forums. :welcomeani:
