Limewire doesn't even start
When I try to start limewire it doesn't even open up the program. I double click the icon, and all it does in bring up an hourglass for a fraction of a second and the hourglass goes away, and nothing happens.
Prior to my most recent installation of limewire, I previously had limewire installed on my computer (i uninstalled it) and I deleted all the spyware associated with limewire by means of antispyware software. This shouldn't affect the use of limewire now considering i reinstalled it along with all the spyware. Help me out please!!! Grant

Try UNINSTALLING ALL versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11.

I am having the exact same problem!
If you would not mind, if you were to find anything to help this problem would you e-mail me? My e-mail address is ******** . I also am supposed to have Pro but every time I type my e-mail address so that I might be able to contact customer support it pops up that it is an invalid e-mail address. I've tried very many times but every time I get the same. Is there any way to chat to a customer support Representative without having to type in my e-mail address? Or are even a way to e-mail them telling them what my problem is?

Sorry, I am not familure with Linux OS so I don't want to give you incorrect info. I'm sure if you wanted to try it and it doesn't solve the problem you could always reinstall what ever version of Java you want.
