File size filter??

Is there a way to tell LImewire to only show files that are of a certain size?

I'm tired of all the hits I get with little 276Kb. They're obviously bogus files or some kind of virus

Thanks

Right click those search results & choose to ban hosts. Select again & click the Junk button with trash icon on it. Also, when you do a search, double-click on the top of the size column so it arranges results with largest at top. How to use the Keyword Filter

There will never be a file size filter from Limewire! Hack It!

There is obviously a reason Limewire still has not implemented a file size filter. The only logical reason is monetary. It will never happen unless someone comes up with a hack.

LW.org has many more staff than they had in the past, multiplied in size ma$$ively. They are now a big company. They are more interested in their own self interests, not listening to the concerns of the general user. Their programmers don't even visit these forums any more. The last post here by one of their programmers was 16 months ago. They are not interested in the New Feature Requests section here, they have not adopted any of the suggestions from there in a long time. They are interested in their own experimental computer nerd ideas that many people can't even relate to. They seem to have lost reality from the real people & their customers. It's a cross between arrogance &

If you wish to use a size filter, Phex uses one & is a very good program. It's not as easy to use at first look, but once you get the hang of it, you will love it. It also connects to hosts (of other gnutella programs) that LW can't. That's because LW "always" favours finding other LW hosts as first preference. Thus some hard to find files can be found using it. What's more it's free. ;)

I requested a size filter 2-3 years ago, as have many other people. Many other constructive suggestions have also been ignored. Unfortunately now it seems the head of the prog team over there is arrogance plus, and nerd to-boot!!! The last several times (over past 12 months) I posted about bugs over at the beta forums that programmer snarled & looked down his nose & ignored the issues. So what's the point in even posting about bugs lol :D (get the drift) ;) :)
