Everytime I start up Limewire it loads to 100% and goes to interface window, comes up with tips, and then the program(Limewire) closes automatically. Does anyone know what is the problem? Thanks. I do have a brick wall on the world at the bottom of the user interface and I went to that website to see if limewire checks good and it says that it does. I run XP Pro and my LM ver is 4.14.10, but when I start LM it comes up with 4.13.?? Beta Version

Same problem here, would love to see what can be done. I am also running Norton antivirus and firewall security, but i have made all the exceptions to allow Limewire and it does not help.

Try these fixes...
Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder/s...This will reset your configurations back to default and get rid of any corruption that may of happened...

sean hetrick...Try removing the themes folder from C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\.limewire\ to get the 4.14 splash screen....
