Install keeps saying limewire already running

Default Install keeps saying limewire already running
Everytime I try to run the file for Limewire pro a popup tells me a previous version of limewire is already running and I have to close it. Its not running and I closed it in the bottom right window beside the time. I tried to open my firewall in my security, but that didn't help either. can anyone help me. Please.

Open Task Manager (ctrl/alt/del) & click on the Processes tab. If there's a LimeWire process running, end the process

For some reason I can't bring up the task manager... I can't figure out how to end my invisible "running" limewire.

Any suggestions?

You can look into your toolbar to see if your limewire icon is there and if it is right click and click on exit

Im getting the same error but its the first time im trying to install limewire

Use this installer for a start: http://www9.limewire.com/download/LimeWireWin-full.exe

But before you install LW, install the offline Java version first: Download Java software from Sun Microsystems (about 15 MB in size)

Also use the advice in posts above.
