Library Lost Maybe?

OK, so heres the deal...

When I download something, it doesn't show up in my library, for that matter none of the things I've got are not in there. And when I do click on the library, Limewire freezes for like 4 seconds before it starts back up. The songs are not in my shared folder either. I've reinstalled and everything. Really starting to get annoying. Thanks in advance.


Edit: Actually, its not only the library making it freeze. But also when I click on Programs, Docs, Images, and Video. It freezes also.

What version of LW are you using? Which version of Java are you using? Click on Help > about LW & you'll see.

Try updating Java, see if that helps with the freezing. Download the JRE offline installer & remove any other Java versions installed (Add/Remove Programs) before you install the new one.

If you're using LW 4.16 with XP, have a look for your recently downloaded files in C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Limewire Saved ...are the new downloads there? Or look in C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Shared.
Else, use your computer's search to look for some of the file names...do they show up anywhere?
