My computer system: MS Windows XP, Home edition, Version 2002, SP2
Computer: Intel (R), Celeron(R) CPU 2.80GHz, 480MB of RAM. I use my computer at home. My service provider is Venturenet. Modem: HUAWEI E220. My anti-virus is AVG Free. I downloaded and installed Java and Limewire. Limewire worked fine but when I subsequently tried to email files from Windows Explorer I could not do so. For example if I went to My Pictures and tried to email a picture, I got a message about a Profile and Adapi files missing. The only way I could solve this problem was by doing a System Restore to a point before I installed Limewire. So at present I am unable to use Limewire. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Elizabeth |

Searched Adapi File and only came up with this. Might have missed the boat completely, but anyway you might check this out.
Downloader-NW If wrong info sorry in advance. Not alot of info on that particular file that I could find.

Thanks for that link. I have gone through all those instructions but I don't think my computer is infected with what they discuss there. It was worth a try though.
