These instructions are pretty generic, but try it and see if it works.

Hook up your psp to your computer. Look under "My Computer", your psp should be listed there. Double click on it and it'll open a window for your psp. Now open the folder with your files in it(usually your Shared folder, located at C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared).

Then just drag your files from your shared folder and drop them onto your psp.

Make sure the songs your trying to transfer are mp3's and put them in the psp music folder. The process seems pretty simple. Try the instructions on this site:

How To Transfer Music (MP3s) onto a PSP

FINALLY FIGRUED IT OUT

very important for ppl who read this in the future

(dont forget to be in usb mode on psp)

when your in my computer
click file "psp"
it should show you
"your user name"(mine was tyler)
and
"psp"

click psp

you should see
"save data"
"system"

What you want to do now is add folder "music"(just a new folder"

so now you have

save data file
system file
and your own
music file

double click your msuic file..it should be empty

now..bring up your music in a seperate file
(i went back to "my computer again..and went to documents)

now you should have 2 seperate files up

your music file(which is empty)
and a list of music from documents or something

simply "copy" the music thats on your computer

and paste them in the empty music file

once you have all the songs you want

exit usb mode..go to music

And it should be there

these directions probly arent the best in the world..but..should help none the less

(also..dont drag the music..copy and paste it)

Lightbulb

can this work even if you don't have the memorystick in PSP ?

insert memorystick in computer
Open My computer and select the drive with MMS in.
create folder PSP
create subfolder MUSIC
put mp3 files in the subfolder.

????
