Possible Purchase: Need Facts

Looking into upgrading from my free Limewire, which is an older version, to the newer version and also going with the Pro. First, I saw that theres an option to get the Extended version for $34.95 for a year.

My question is, will the program still work after that year? Will I have to pay another $34.95 to continue, or does that price just cover the updates for a year?


Also, is there a major difference between the 4.12 version I have and the new 4.16? Is there a better search type feature with more possibilities of finding what I'm looking for?

That Price is only good for a Year but they will usually offer a discount before your subscription runs out.
Once you've bought Pro, you don't have to update. You can keep that Pro installer forever. You just won't be able to update to newer versions.
As far as 4.16 being better than 4.12, No not really. There might be some new functions, but the basics are the same. I would suggest trying 4.16 Basic for a while before even considering Pro. This way, you will see how it functions before you buy.
