bit torrent

Limewire has made itself my default program to download bit torrent files. I would rather use a different program. How do I disable this?

Sleepless and Remoc,

We're close.

I'm using a Mac w/OS 10.4. Would prefer using Transmission. It still will not open torrents.

I don't have the faintest ideas about anything Mac I'm afraid. But there are Mac Users on this forum so they should be able to answer.
