Limewire pro

I sent a money order in to buy limewire pro and I still have not received anything. What's going on?

How long has it been since you sent for it?

Try sending a PM to limenathan. He handles billing problems, be sure to give a detailed explanation.

Only a couple days but I wasn't sure how long it should take. I'm in tx and the form said to mail it to NY.

Hello to everybody in the community. How easy is limewire pro to download and use?I have a co-worker who has had problems getting limewire pro to run on his computer, and he is way more computer saavy than I am.Just a thought.Any feedback would be appreciated.I just don't want to spend money on a program, and not have it work.

I would suggest trying Basic for a couple of months before purchasing Pro. Basic is Free and there's not a huge difference between the two. Make sure you get it from here. Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download, BitTorrent «

re:Lime Wire Pro

Thanks for the "heads up" on Lime Wire Pro.I will stick with basic for a couple of months before getting the pro version.

I don't know how long it's supposed to take, but I'd give it a couple weeks. After that if you still haven't gotten anything then you should try to get in touch with someone.

You should receive it through an email with a link to your Pro download page. Make sure you bookmark the d/load page after you get it. That way you can go back to it for the free updates.

Well, I don't know if it's just me or what, but I can't get that bit torrent link to give me anything except the Pro page. Are there any other ways I can download Basic?

Hah! Found it at Download LimeWire.

Thanks for any help.

I took the bait and shelled out 35 clams. so far, i cant even connect on pro. so, I'm not really impressed. also the self help links arent working so i have to wait for a "team member" to help me out. i've been waiting for a m.s. team member for a week. if anyone knows a reason why the latest version wont connect when the free version did, please let me know!

I have Basic, and it is working well, but I have learned one thing, it's very difficult to get connected on weekends.

dylanfreak76 March 1st, 2008 06:15 PM

You were right, I just needed a little patience. Workin like a breeze now!

pro can't connect

Got frustrated for not being able to connect to pro. How come am always in the "trying to connect mode"? And my one bar connection seemed to take forever, felt like its been ages now. Anybody got the same problem? What's the deal here?

Hmmm...

The 'connect' problem is almost certainly a local thing re: your Internet Service Provider and structural traffic problems... (meaning they do not have access to sufficient hardware/bandwidth... meaning they are not spending enough on gear and line capacity rental !)

In fact, weekends and/or major holidays are great for Gnutella Network as there are increased numbers of users participating at such times !

cattywampus March 12th, 2008 11:26 AM

Well, it's certainly true that you may have more sources but that's not much good if you can't connect, is it?
