Cannot get downloaded song to play Hi All, I am new to Limewire (and in all honesty, quite technically challenged). I downloaded Limewire without incident, did a search for the song my daughter needs (*****), and it said "complete". It was an MP3 version. then I tried a WMA version. We have a Dell with Windows XP. I have tried everything to get it to play: I tried right clicking and then "launch" in Limewire. I tried using the Limewire player buttons at the bottom. I tried double clicking on the song. I tried using Windows Media Player - says it does not recognize the extension and cannot play it. I tried using Itunes, when I click the song, nothing happens. I tried Musicmatch Jukebox. It says I have to get a licensing update, but then a box popped up saying to "play it" and my Macafee said it was a trojan and stopped it. don't know what else to try. I am sure it is something simple I am just missing. Any help out there? thanks __________________________________________________ Edited to comply with the House Rules. I'm having the same problem on my Mac. I only got one song to play and the others just would not do anything. I suppose we'll just figure it out eventually :D |
