Have you tried just using the computers search to search for a song you know you have? that should work.

princess80 April 20th, 2008 03:07 PM

no, how do you do that?

Sleepless April 20th, 2008 03:13 PM

Well what kind of computer do you have? It differs depending on that

princess80 April 20th, 2008 03:27 PM

its an AMD Athlon 64 *2 powerd by ASUS, i have nForce video card 2 gig of Ram 500*2 of hard drive space, is there anything else you need to know?

Sleepless April 20th, 2008 03:30 PM

well the operating system would be nice, since that is why it is different. So.. Windows XP.. or VISTA or something completely other.

I don't even know how to search in VISTA, but I would think it's something similar to XP.

In XP. Press the Start button (lower left corner) and then search. Choose Pictures, music or video

Then just type the name of some song and press search

princess80 April 20th, 2008 03:36 PM

oh sorry its Windows XP

Sleepless April 20th, 2008 03:39 PM

I edited above reply. Don't know if you saw it

princess80 April 20th, 2008 03:50 PM

i did no search found but how can i search it?

Sleepless April 20th, 2008 04:01 PM

Try several songs that you know you have. If Windows finds none of them then they really are deleted.

Unless you accidently put them in the recycle bin and didn't empty it yet

If they are gone then you might still be able to find some of them and restore them:
