Uninstalling old version of Limewire

Today I logged onto Limeware and received a message that there was a new version of Limewire available. I clicked the link and tried to download the newest version and had multiple problems due to the fact that an version was running and the install program kept aborting. I tried to manually remove the program but unable to get it done. What is a "jar" and how do you delete a "jar" file.:licklips:If any one can tell me how to get it removed, I would really appreciate some help.
Thank you

i believe there are 2 ways of actually doing this right what i usually did was i looked at my toolbar i opened it fully and if you see limewire right click and click exit

and that jar thingy go to ur program files and open your limewire folder and look for the file it says you need to remove and t get to ur program files it is
My computer>main drive(usually C or D)>Program Files>Limewire

i hope this helps you in the future

Cheers,
