You don't want to remove your firewall, you need to set it to allow LW access to the internet. What firewall(s) do you have?

Could you provide these details: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...-you-post.html

Default Firewall question

I have had limewire for over a year and have had no problems until yesterday when I looked ay my files. In my files I have songs that I downloaded that never went over to my windows media player despite the fact that I set it up to automatically do that.
I attempted to play one of these songs and then I got a firewall symbol and "0" files being shared appeared.
I checked my settings and they are set to share my files, my firewall is set to allow limewire.
I am completely baffled.....I have a 4 green bar connection indication and don't know what to do here.
Help !

@ srphantom,

I'd start by doing a virus scan just to be safe.

Then provide these details: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...-you-post.html
