Hi thanks for your help. I have tried all the fixes (stickies) that I can do (understand how to do). I have checked firewall status. Even when I remove it the icon still appears in bottom left of LW screen. The connecting icon still says 'connecting' but only smallest bar is green. I have closed down PC and re-booted. It's strange because it has only just happened this last week. Never had this problem before and haven't changed anything else in terms ISP or secuity software. Do you think I am missing an obvious thing? I'm not computer literate, just a press and go sort of person, so I am struggling now...
