Can I move the temp folder?
 

I want to move all my LW files to an external drive. I did not have any trouble setting the save folder to the new drive but I am unable to find an option in LW to specify where the temp folder is. Is it possible to move it or am I stuck with having it on my C: drive?

As the above showes, we have ours on an External HDD.

Point LW in the Path that you want the files saved/shared. As you'll notice, we have ours set to the same Folder. We don't use separate saved and shared folders. This way everything is put into One folder nice and neat.
The only thing I separated was my files from the kids files. Have you heard what these damn kids are listening to now-a-days ?? :puke::rofl: Hope this Helps. :)

Thanks for your reply but it really didn't answer my question. I had no trouble changing the saved folders, but what I want to change is the temp folder where LW keeps the files as they are being downloaded. I have been unable to find an option for that.

Your incomplete folder 'follows' your saved folder. Say if your saved folder was H:\limewire\saved then your incomplete folder will be H:\limewire\incomplete.

If your saved folder was C:\ilkiedownloading then your incomplete folder would be C:\incomplete

So if you want to change the location of your incomplete folder, you'll need to change the location of your saved folder (there's nothing within LW's options to change the incomplete location, because it should just follow your saved folder).

I see that now. Thank you. Now that I moved my saved folder to the new drive there is a folder there called incomplete. Mystery solved! Thanks again.
