Can't Download Pro Software
 

Hi i wounder if you guys could help me please?

I have just paid for limewire pro and have been directed to the download link, however when i try to download the software it opens the download box and the in a second it just shuts and the download stops.

I am running windows XP on a dsl line, please can you advise.

Frustrating that i just paid for a product that i can't download.

Because i have notices that a Google search "Limewire" brings up a fake LimeWire website which scams people, it is even the first result :(:(:(:(:(

Thx for getting back to me, i have checked and yes i have paid for it from the correct site.
I have updated java and still no luck, funny thing it is not downloading from another machine of mine wich is running vista ultimate.
Very confused please can someone help me out on this , ??

Well my synopsis from what you have told me is that maybe the website is having technical difficulties, maybe contact the site regarding your problem, thats the only advice i can give you. Java has nothing to do with downloading a file, thats the browsers problem. You only need to worry about Java when you are opening or running the program, sorry i could not help you fully on this subject.
Try closing your browser, rebooting and then trying to download it again, if not i suggest waiting a few hours, like i said it might be the site having a fault in it.

What kind of problem are you having - is your email address not recognised when you try to download Pro? Or are you having some other problem with the installer?

When did you buy Pro? Who did you pay for Pro (check your CC statement)?

My problem is a bit similiar, however I sent a certified check to Lime Wire and have not received a response for three weeks! Help!

The official LW site only accepts CC payments & Money Order. Not cheques.

How much did you pay for LW & did you pay for LW Pro (basic is free)?

Which site did you pay for LW?

Check through your emails - did you recieve some kind of order confirmation?

I have not received any notification from Lime Wire. I sent a certified check issued from a bank and I paid 25.50 for Pro. I went to the Lime Wire site and followed the directions to send the payment to Lime Wire LLC. The office must have a record of payment, cashing the check something I would think. It has to be a matter of simple accounting. The office has my name and my check. :whistling:

Did you use the 'Money Order' button to get Pro?

If you send a money order then Pro would cost $25.50... AFAIK LW don't take cheques so your payment would have to be via money order. Has your cheque been cashed??

Did you send a personal cheque?

The order page says that personal cheques aren't accepted, so maybe that's your problem?
