hi michaelmac welcome to the forums.

There are some videos that make you do that, but are actually getting you to download a virus. Do not go to such sites. If you need a player that will play 100% of videos on the gnutella network, get VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site)

It's a highly reliable player & has all its codecs built in.
