Seems WMP does not seem to like LW 5; see suggestion here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...em-lw-5-a.html

Default LW sux?--umm, maybe it's MS and WMP

As far as audio is concerned, WMP has instituted Digital Rights Management (DRM) and will not play many downloaded files, mainly mp3s, or even some CDA/WAV files that I own myself. Try another media player, Winamp e.g., and see what happens.

I think LW5 sux for entirely different reasons.

As do many It does not suit the experienced users, especially those who use LW 4's tools to their max. But even many new users don't like LW 5. At least the previous LW 5 release they changed the colors to be no so dazzling.
