Limewire on Vista

Does anyone know if Limewire Basic or Pro runs on Windows Vista.

I tried loading Limewire (sorry, cannot remember the version) on Vista and it
loaded ok. Tried to bring it up and it hung at starting connection.

I am going to get a new version and try it, but does anyone know if it
does run on VISTA?

I check the version I am using. It is Pro 4.9.20.
I did see a write-up that someone else had about using Vista and
will try it this evening..

All versions of LW should run on Vista. For LW 4.9, try these fixes: Fixes for Limewire (click on blue link). You may need to replace the gnutella.net file, more can be seen how to do here If LW 4 Will Not Connect (click on the blue link)

I'm running Vista 32 Home.
I've had no problems at all running LimeWire PRO on it. Been loaded up and running daily for the last year.
I still have version 14.18.8.
(I tried updating to 5 but I hated everything about it so much it took me less than 5 minutes to go back to ver 14.18.8)
