Have changed computer - Limewire not recognising me

Hi

Quite a few years ago (and this is all from memory, I've not got anything written down), I paid a one off lifetime fee - around about £34.00 something so that I could download from Limewire and I've used it since then. I never upgraded to Limewire Pro because I thought that it would cost me more money and I've been happy with Limewire.

I've just got a new computer and went onto the Limewire site where it asked me for my email address/es, I tried all of my addys that I could remember going back a few years but it didn't recognise any of them. Maybe it only recognises you if you're a Pro user.

Can anyone tell me how to resolve this problem ? I don't want to lose the benefits of the lifetime fee by just starting again with Limewire.

BTW, how do I transfer all of my shared files from my old computer ?

for starters, its obvious you got scammed....there is NO one time life time fee....2, if you paid for it then you would have gotten pro, as basic has always been free...

simply download the free version...FOR FREE.....from www.limewire.com
