![]() Tonight my son told me he could see my downloaded Limewire files on his Windows XP PC. I have a MAc OSX & I am using Limewire Pro 4.18.8. If he wants to view my downloaded files, that's fine, but I'm not sure how he was able to do this and I wanted to know how I could see Limewire files other users in our local network. This question has been probably asked thousands of times already but I can't find anything similar. |

![]() Thanks for the info... From your instructions, it sounds like someone would have to go out of his way to make a direct connect... I mean it's not so automatic, that he boots up limewire and all files are right there... the "file seeker" would have had to have an interest in seeing these files, rather than them just "being there." Is this correct? |

![]() I'm not sure .. I've never had experience using LW on a network. If the two computers are networked, then he 'might' be able to see the files anyway. lol ![]() Do you two have iTunes on your computers? iTunes can share libraries across a network if the option is turned on. And if the option is also enabled on LW, then he could see your iTunes LW shared library on his iTunes. Whilst iTunes can share the iTunes-LW playlist as that's all it is, then the songs can be played but not copied. |
