Automaticly adding files to Libary?

So I have got Limewire PRO, And what does that first message mean?

I selected Manual and deselected all ticked boxes.

Is it going to share files from my computer that I don't want to?

EDIT: I have Limewire 5.1.3 :)

EDIT: Pro

its been years since I've use LameWire, but if things are as they were, then the box you refer to is the one that asks if you want LW to search your HDD for files to share...

I must say, that is the most criminal option one can imagine when it comes to p2p...ermm...its criminal that by default it wants to automatically share all files on your HDD...

you say you unticked all boxes....what did the pre-checked boxes apply to?

the reason I ask is I read somewhere recently where LW devs had told congress that their (lame) program had been changed so that it no longer, by default, looks for files to share (a very serious security issue)...in a nutshell what I'm wondering is if those fields said something about NOT sharing files (and by unchecking the box you allowed it to)

By default LW no longer shares applications. I cannot recall if documents is shared by default or not. There have been changes in the setup process for which directories LW suggests about sharing, etc. Also has a sensitive area listing from memory.
