Hello
How can I disable Limewire at startup, please. If I go to Start | Run and type in msconfig (in XP) and select the StartUp tab, what I am supposed to be looking for? Many thanks. |

I do not like the way LW suggests to do that at initial setup, but it's not the only gnutella program that does that.
Go to your LW menu bar, Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> System, uncheck option for 'Run LW on System Startup'.

I'm not sure myself. Though the setting I gave should do the trick. If not, then you may have picked up a virus ... one or two viruses show that behaviour that LW starts up at system startup.
