![]() I discovered a few days ago that I wanted to go back to LPE. I'll save you all the circles I've went around in and just tell you where I'm at now... I have both Java 6 and 7 installed, both 32-bit and 64-bit versions (so LPE is out of reasons to use the java excuse) I have uninstalled my previous installed version via the Revo uninstaller, so I am confident that any remants that would normally be left behind were swept away I downloaded file_girl's package, and I followed the instructions as to the order of installation (the security package, LPE itself, and the Limestart fix) Both with this and what I had before, when I start it up I get an error that says the following... "A problem occurred... LimeWire has encountered an internal error. It is possible for LimeWire to recover and continue running normally. To continue using LimeWire, close this window. If desired, you can click 'Show Bug' to look at the information about the error." OK, so I do that, here's what I get...which doesn't seem to help much Code: LimeWire version 5.6.2 Java version 1.7.0_21 from Oracle Corporation Windows 7 v. 6.1 on amd64 Free/total memory: 147710472/162201600 java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no jacob-1.15-M1-lw-x64 in java.library.path at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadLibrary(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Runtime.loadLibrary0(Unknown Source) at java.lang.System.loadLibrary(Unknown Source) at com.jacob.com.LibraryLoader.loadJacobLibrary(LibraryLoader.java:184) at com.jacob.com.JacobObject.<clinit>(JacobObject.java:108) at com.jacob.com.LibraryLoader.loadJacobLibrary(LibraryLoader.java:181) at com.jacob.com.ComThread.<clinit>(ComThread.java:167) at com.limegroup.gnutella.malware.VirusScannerImpl.loadAvgDirectly(VirusScannerImpl.java:256) at com.limegroup.gnutella.malware.VirusScannerImpl.access$7(VirusScannerImpl.java:252) at com.limegroup.gnutella.malware.VirusScannerImpl$3.call(VirusScannerImpl.java:235) at com.limegroup.gnutella.malware.VirusScannerImpl$3.call(VirusScannerImpl.java:1) at org.limewire.concurrent.ErrorCatchingThreadPoolExecutor$1.call(ErrorCatchingThreadPoolExecutor.java:42) at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask$Sync.innerRun(Unknown Source) at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask.run(Unknown Source) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(Unknown Source) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) Detail: Uncaught thread error: VirusScannerThread -- listing session information -- Current thread: VirusScannerThread Active Threads: 15 Peak Number of Thread: 20 System Load Avg: -1.0 Objects Pending GC: 0 Free Space In Settings: 200333213696 Free Space In Incomplete: 200333213696 Free Space In Downloads: 200333213696 Heap Memory Usage: init = 134204288(131058K) used = 14491128(14151K) committed = 162201600(158400K) max = 1908932608(1864192K) Non-Heap Memory Usage: init = 24313856(23744K) used = 32294096(31537K) committed = 33554432(32768K) max = 136314880(133120K) -- listing threads -- BackgroundTasks: 1 AWT-Shutdown: 1 CreationTimeCacheDeserializer: 1 Deadlock Detection Thread: 1 FastExecutor: 1 backgroundExecutor: 1 main: 1 FirewallEventThread: 1 AWT-EventQueue-0: 1 Library Disk I/O Thread: 1 Image Fetcher 0: 1 UDPSocketChannelConnectionEvent: 1 VirusScannerThread: 1 AWT-Windows: 1 NIODispatcher: 1 -- listing properties -- FRACTIONAL_UPTIME=0.004287097 SESSIONS=2 NEXT_URN_BLACKLIST_UPDATE=1370521223431 UPTIME_HISTORY=372 LAST_URN_BLACKLIST_UPDATE=1368507531155 TOTAL_UPTIME=372 GEO_LOCATION=#props #Mon May 13 21:59:03 MST 2013 AVERAGE_UPTIME=372 LIBRARY_VERSION=FIVE_0_0 CURRENTLY_RUNNING=true CLIENT_ID=1DE58A2BA2F0F7DB9F4C2932243BA900 LAST_EXPIRE_TIME=1368507529242 DOWNTIME_HISTORY=86400;198 LAST_SHUTDOWN_TIME=1368507902958 RUN_ON_STARTUP=false Another thing with both file_girl's version and the standard version of LPE...when I go to options and attempt to change my download folder, the program just locks up on me, hard. So hard that I have to shut it down via task manager. I don't know if this is relating to the refuse-to-connect problem, but I thought I'd mention it. As best I can tell, SEP firewall is configured to let limewire traffic through. It allows upnp, and I made a rule to allow limewire.exe though the firewall. I read that other people get on the gnutella network, and I really want to be able to, also. Please help. |
