time to live Time to live is not well-enough documented. It may appear to be self-explanatory. However, I am having trouble understanding the difference between "Max TTL" and "My TTL" values. It appears as if one of them refers to a values that helps determine whether a query recieved from a peer should be forwarded to other peers, while the other is used to determine of queries coming from peers should be passed further. Documentation avoids this topic. The interface simply says that if I don't know what this means, I shouldn't mess with it... So, which is which? Thanks. -= onTy =- |
