Requesting Push - Timeout

I wonder why I am the first to ask, but to my mind a timeout that cancels unsuccessful download attempts after a given time is the most important missing feature of all gnutella clients including gnotella 0.7.

Without that feature gnotella needs attention every now and then because download slots would be jammed by hung requests.

With the timeout feature, one could assemble a huge dl-queue and do other things while gnotella retrieves active files and discards inactive ones.

Another nice feature would be a limitation to a given number of connections to one specific host.

When I do downloads, I monitor the throughput of my downstream and when it drops below maximum, I open another download slot. Gnotella could do the same automatically.
