Command to list all files available from IP address Is there anyway to add a command which lists all the files available from a specific computer, comparable to napster's hotlist. Under the same menu which allows you to "Ignore files from this IP" there could be a fourth command that says, "List all files from this IP." Or Something. |
Revealing a list of shared files is something a gnutella peer does not do and propably never will. If you need some inspiration on what to download, tick the "monitor" checkbox. |
If the user is using Gnotella, and they have the web interface enabled, that could be used, but don't count on it. The Gnutella protocol doesn't allow for it, period. -Yytrium- P.S. - Hi, Sweeet, I remember you from IRC! |
When you guys release the source code, won't the RIAA, MPAA take their pet hackers and create as many hacks into the client to be as nosy as possible? |
There are a couple open source Gnutella projects. I don't know what you'd expect them to try, though. That's just a risk of opening the source, I suppose... -Yytrium- |
