Things starting to look good with 1.0.5

But I got a few suggestions for new features:
1. Sub search like the one used in Gnucleus. When doing a general search for whatever I get a lot of mp3, wma, divx and asf files. By using sub search I can decide if I only want to see the mp3 files or a special artist in the search list.
2. More searches. 3 is not enough. Again look at Gnucleus.
3. Standard windows interface. I don't like those non-standard GUI skins. Please, please, please, please....

If you can implement these features in the next releases you have totally converted me.

I agree, a results filter would be nice. An "exclude" filter would be even nicer: just put a '~' in front of the search word and anything containing that fragment would not show up in the results window.

I kinda like some of the skins myself. The DrawnTella skin is one of my favorites. :)

When I click 'Refresh Host List' on the Hosts tab, am I getting a new list of servers or am I just rebuilding the same old list again? My search results never seem to vary much.

Agree

Agree with Django Reinhardt.

1) A sub search would be excellent. And as a VB programmer, I know it is dead easy to code.

2) If I could use standard Windows interface (no skins), I definitely would.

Having said that, Gnotella is still a great programme!

Actually, you can already decide wether you want to search only for mp3s or whatever.

The visible hosts depend on the hosts you are connected to. You see the Network through those 4, 5, 6, 8... servers, so you may get a similar list to the one you had before if you are still conected to the same ones. It doesn't mean you will have that very same list though.

You can already do that too.

You don't say. That's new! </sarcasm ends>

The problem is when I search something like '80's' mp3 files I would like to use sub search to separate the artists I like to download. Like: first I want to see the Madonna results, then the Duran Duran results and third the Genesis results, and by using this I will not have to do several separate searches. And as Gnotella will not allow more than 3 searches at same time it would save a lot of time and traffic on the net.

Sub search

Sorry, I misunderstood you. I thought that when you said "sub search" you meant to search within those results.
