Misc changes & new features
 

these are based on me using v.72a

1) option to turn off that pesky help description popup

2) windows standard keystrokes do not seem to be implemented. ie alt-f4 close gnotella, esc close child window

3) Drop list that keeps login & netcache info for all the private networks.

4) Speed transfer bar.
a) change 0-255 to k rating
b) a change in speed did not effect
current upload and it should.

5) I was using the speed number as an identifier for myself. Gnotella takes this away from me. I suggest you have an entry box (call it ICQ# ??) and a speed box. use the speed for what you currently use it for and display the ICQ number. (can the speed field do alpha chars? If yes, you can put a gnotella ID here too. so other know they can get browse my offerings)

6) IP banning/blocking. the connection list shows TTL setting others have. If blocking these dummys helps. I'll do it. (maybe have a checkbox to auto block people over a certain number)

7) IP banning so I can block cable people not offering files. on the flipside 56k leechers are ok. (I'll let you figure out the catch-22 this feature might have with #5)

8) adjustable DL queue list. (maybe a priority setting?)

9) Redefine max downloads. I suggest 2 settings. one is max total DLs, the other is max Per IP. this will eliminate the linear downloads and work around a slower DL stopping other queued items from being transfered when I have the bandwidth. it also keeps me from hogging the other persons resources.

10) web page colors have to change. it's really hard to read.
